One one side of the river lay William Klein and on the other Henri Cartier-Bresson. Klein at the Tate Modern and Cartier-Bresson in Somerset House. If photography is about 'the decisive moment', a phrase coined by the master of reportage Cartier-Bresson I wonder how these moments could get one into so much trouble. But this really isn't a missive
on copyright law so I shall concentrate on fun cultural matters that kept me busy last week during process of compiling LawNewsIndex. As November ended I realised that I had never been to as many recitals in a single month ever before. First there was John Tomlinson at a church in Belgravia and more recently, a wonderful evening of leider singing at the Actor's Church in Covent Garden. Sadly, my friend Neil has none of the photographic talent of Klein or Cartier-Bresson and the pictures are truly dreadful. Still, it is the dreadful that makes us appreciate the very best even more?!?
