I have been pleasantly surprised by the enormous interest and readership of our Saturday conversations. Next week's conversation would feature Barrister ASM Alam, a commercial lawyer from Bangladesh sharing his thoughts on the recent garment factory collapse and safety laws in that jurisdiction. The other exciting exchange of the week had been with the distinguished Indian lawyer Advocate Santhanakrishnan, who is one of the organisers of the Cricket World Cup for lawyers. I am so looking forward to speaking to him during his visit to London in early June and perhaps more importantly, picking up some tips on my shaky forward defensive stance!
