500 days of Law News: thanking you for spreading the word!

LawnewsIndex.com would be reaching the ripe old age of 500 days on 9th May. That would be 500 days of all that happened in the sphere of justice, human rights and legal developments in UK and across the world.

It all started on the evening of Tuesday, 27th December 2011 after a frustrating evening of searching for a particular legal story. The internet is a vast resource and while there are specific legal journals, case history databases and the legal sections within the mainstream media, it can be quite difficult to track down ongoing events easily after the press lose all interest in the story. LawNewsIndex is not intended to be the final word on any legal development but merely a starting point, midpoint and maybe, even endpoint for research pertaining to events covered by online media. It is hoped that the index possesses something of interest for lawyers, law students, members of the judiciary and individuals working or interested in the field of law, justice, civil rights and the media. The twitter handle @TheLawMap tweets law related news and articles and these are subsequently collated on a daily basis to form the index held at LawnewsIndex.com.

If you have enjoyed reading our law tweets and/or is a visitor to LawNewsIndex, it is my absolute pleasure to thank you once again for your continued support and help in spreading the word within the legal diaspora!
